Jason K. Hutchinson, Esquire
Jason K. Hutchinson was born and raised in the state of North Carolina living in Fayetteville, Raleigh and Western North Carolina. He moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2001. Mr. Hutchinson graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelors of Science in Political Science in 1998. While attending Western Carolina, he was an active member of Pi Lambda Phi, a service organization.
In 2004, Mr. Hutchinson graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. While in law school, Mr. Hutchinson was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and was named an Honor Court Student Defender. In the summer of 2003, Mr. Hutchinson served as a Certified Legal Intern for the State Attorney’s Office of the Fourth Judicial Circuit in Duval County, Florida. After completion of his internship, Mr. Hutchinson began his career in marital and family law working for the law firm of Fletcher & Conner, P.A.
After completion of law school, Mr. Hutchinson was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2004. Mr. Hutchinson is currently a member of the Florida Bar, the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. Following law school, Mr. Hutchinson spent five years as an associate attorney at the law firm of Oberdier & Oberdier, P.A. During that time, Mr. Hutchinson concentrated his practice in the areas of trial law, railroad litigation and personal injury litigation representing both individuals and Fortune 500 companies.
Today, Mr. Hutchinson concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury litigation, marital and family law, and appellate advocacy. Mr. Hutchinson was instrumental in the recent shaping of Paternity law in the Jacksonville area through appellant advocacy. Mr. Hutchinson currently represents clients in all aspects of Marital and Family law including complex divorce actions, high asset distribution cases, complicated time-sharing disputes, Paternity actions and Modifications.
